The Artist

Meagan Roldan is a Puerto Rican-American creator of meaningful acrylic pieces. She grew up in New York and Philadelphia. Her work shares an integrated mix of spiritual perceptions of life in art, beauty and dark subconscious. Themes range from uplifting visual mantras, to landscaped messages of the world around us, to the mental prisons that we put ourselves into. Colors mix on canvas until they blend through different styles of mark-making that show dimension and make the eye wander. The importance of the pieces is as meaningful as the experience of life itself. Every piece holds a message that the artist strives to put out in the world, intending to touch the eyes and hearts of the beholders. She currently works in Philadelphia and continues to show throughout the city.
